Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I need GST to sell tickets?
- No GST registration is required to get started. SPION doesn't add GST on top of ticket prices, so if your business is GST-registered, include your GST in the price you set. GST on SPION's own fees is charged and itemized separately.
- When do I receive my funds?
- Funds from ticket sales are settled directly to your bank account within 3–5 business days after the event, or on a rolling basis depending on your payment gateway settings.
- Can I run a completely free event?
- Yes. SPION supports free registrations with no per-ticket charge. You only pay a small one-time publish fee to make your event live.
- How does QR check-in work?
- Every registered attendee automatically receives a unique QR code via email. On event day, your team scans QR codes at entry via the SPION dashboard or mobile scanner — it checks in valid tickets, flags duplicates, and updates attendance in real time.
- Are refunds allowed?
- Refund policies are fully in the organizer's control and set when creating the event. SPION can process refunds on the organizer's behalf if needed.
- Can I connect my own domain?
- Yes. Custom domains are self-service and available on every plan for ₹249/$3 per year — add your domain from your dashboard, point a CNAME at SPION, and once verified your event pages go live on your own branded domain.
